## WordPress powers 25% of the web

If you missed it, the new data is out, and WordPress--the open-source software that makes it easy to build websites and blogs--powers 25% of the web. That's pretty awesome if you've been a part of building up the software, the commercial ecosystem and the community around it.

But that's not what I'm most thankful for (especially since it's the day after Thanksgiving).

## Here's the best part of WordPress

It's the community. The relationships. The friendships--and the memories that come from a year hanging out with great friends.
