We’re wrapping up these tips…
For this final tip, I want to highlight something that you probably already know, but don’t do often enough. Make sure every single page or post on your site has a call to action.
I know. You read that and think, no duh. But here’s the thing. I do tons of reviews and consulting with folks and their sites and I can’t tell you the number of pages I see that have no call to action.
Sure, you have a landing page here or there. I get that.
But I’m talking about something on EVERY. SINGLE. PAGE. OR. POST.
Direct people to the action you want them to take.
If you’ve been to my site, you know I’m not bashful about it. I give away tons of free resources on my site. And people wonder, wait – how do you turn this into revenue?
The answer is the big – and I’m serious, it’s super big – call to action at the bottom of each of my posts.
That CTA takes people off my site. And I am fine with that. Because they pay to talk. And while that’s another story for another time, the tip remains the same.
Make sure that people know what you want them to do. Don’t be bashful. Don’t be indirect.
Make your Call to Action clear and available on every post or page.
So there you have it. Tip Four.
I hope these have been helpful. Next week I’ll let you know how you can get early access to my video course on Rainmaker Secrets.
In that course, I’ll show you exactly how I
- build a membership area on my Rainmaker site
- run webinars directly on my Rainmaker site
- use Zapier post-purchase for cool Postcard and T-shirt integrations
- build landing pages with the landing page builder
- and more
But most importantly, I’ll walk you through my model for and strategy behind how I drive the revenue I do into my side business – all thru my Rainmaker site.
And how you can do it too.
