# Five Tips for Virtual Teams and working Remote

So instead, I headed to a local studio and shot video that I sent them. My friend [Karim](https://twitter.com/karimmarucchi) was there in person, adding his thoughts - given that his company, [Crowd Favorite](https://crowdfavorite.com/), works in a distributed context as well.
